Personally my comp was houndmaster, highwayman, flagellant (jester if you don’t have dlc) and hellion. Once she’s dead the pot goes away anyway, and since the pot can only bring someone to deaths door before dumping them iirc as long as you burst her down you should be fine. Treat the fight as already being a man down and just focus on killing the hag. The pot is a trap, as soon as someone’s out, another person goes right in, and she heals so diverting your attention to free them basically is just a waste of time. Personally, I’d say build a team that specializes in hitting positions 3 and 4 (with some front line abilities to get you through the actual dungeon part) where your position 3/4 person doesn’t care so much about where they are (highwayman and grace robber are great for this, same with hellion). Rule#1 of darkest dungeon, don’t get attached.Īs for the hag herself, now that you know what you’re up against you know how to plan. On the early game where dungeons are generally lvl 1 it’s not that bad, complete 1-2 quests and you’re back at where you were essentially. but yes, if your characters die, you need to build up new ones. I’m not really sure what exactly your asking.
